During EuroPride 2018 the University of Gothenburg organises Forum for Norm Critical Research. The Forum is a popular science event where focus is on LGBTQ and norm critical research.
HDK participates, for example, with this lecture by professor Maja Gunn.

Body Acts Queer: Clothing as a performative challenge to heteronormativity

Body Acts Queer introduces an artistic way of working with and exploring the performative and ideological functions of clothing with regard to gender, feminism, and queer.
Maja Gunn is a Professor in Craft specialising in Fashion, Academy of Design and Crafts. Her research explores bodily experiences of clothes, and through such exploration she investigates the clothes¿ performative and political functions, with notions of cultural, social and heteronormative structures.
